Implementing the Autism Act (2009) - Putting strategy into practice

Location: ORT House Conference Centre, London

The Autism Act (2009) included a strategy which set out the actions that the Government needs to take to ensure that adults with autism get the support that they need. This conference, run by Pavilion, will examine how the implementation of this strategy will work in practice. Discussions will be focused on how adults with autism can best be supported in practical areas such as housing, education, training and employment so that they can enjoy a fulfilled and happy life.

Lucia Winters from the National Transition Support Team will be talking about how the implementation of the strategy will support planning and preparation for the provision of services to people with autism as they move from being children to adults.

Visit Pavilion's website for programme and booking details.
